A message from former Congressman Tom Tancredo.

Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center is an established facility in providing Tinnitus Treatment and support to patients nationwide. Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center, Inc. was chosen to be the first accredited provider of the Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment in the State of Colorado due to our facility specializing in the treatment of tinnitus. Our Audiologists, Dr. Patty Kalmbach and Dr. Lisa Evans-Smith, have undergone extensive training in the Neuromonics approach as well as TRT. We were the first Audiologists trained in Neuromonics in the State of Colorado. Our Audiologist was the first Board Certified Audiologist in the State of Colorado to be trained in this new Tinnitus Treatment. We have been providing this treatment since May of 2006. We are the only clinic in Colorado offering both Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment and TRT.

Welcome to Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center, Inc.
We are committed to helping patients who suffer from hearing impairments as well as those who experience ringing in the ears (tinnitus), or sound sensitivity (hyperacusis). We believe that those who experience hearing problems can live high-quality lives through excellence in hearing healthcare.

We understand that the reality of living with a hearing impairment can be overwhelming. There are many emotions involved when discovering that you or a loved one may have a hearing loss or perhaps suffers from ringing in the ears or sound tolerance problems.

We offer comprehensive audiology services that range from diagnostic hearing evaluations to treatment programs utilizing hearing aids as well as the latest assistive listening devices.

We are the first center in Colorado offering a new method of treatment for tinnitus. Tinnitus is a common problem, affecting about 17% of the general population around the world (44 million people in the USA). It causes significant suffering in about 4% of the general population (10 million in the USA).

Many tinnitus sufferers are beginning to hear about the revolutionary Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment. We are pleased to announce that this amazing tinnitus treatment has finally come to Colorado and is only available at Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center, Inc.
Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment
Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment was discovered and developed at Western Australia's Curtin University of Technology by Dr Paul Davis, Adjunct Associate Professor. Both of our Audiologists have been trained by Dr. Paul Davis.

The Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment has been developed and refined over more than 10 years of research and clinical practice. Its success has been demonstrated in clinical trials involving hundreds of people with tinnitus and reduced sound tolerance.

The Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment involves listening to an acoustic signal that is customized for each person's unique hearing profile. The Processor is a medical device that's small and lightweight - approximately the same size and weight of a mobile phone, and accompanied by high fidelity earphones. It delivers a pleasant acoustic signal (embedded in music) at a comfortable listening level. This sound stimulates a wide range of auditory pathways, as well as the emotional (limbic) system and the autonomic nervous system of the brain - which in turn, decreases disturbance from tinnitus over the course of your treatment.

Backed by more than 35 years of combined experience, our team of certified and licensed audiologists provides professional, personal care at every stage of diagnosis and treatment and strives to ensure the best possible outcome for every patient.
