Tinnitus is a bio-psycho-social condition which best responds to a multidisciplinary approach utilizing the services of an ENT, audiologist, physician and a psychologist.

He has more than 27 years of experience treating patients in his private practice. Dr. Smith specializes in working with patients exhibiting anxiety disorders such as panic, generalized anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorders, as well as working in behavioral medicine. He has specialized in treating tinnitus patients for the past 15 years, often seeing as many as 15 tinnitus patients per week. Dr. Smith has studied extensively in tinnitus treatment and approaches his treatment from a multidisciplinary approach including frequent requested consultations by audiologists, otologists, and otolaryngologists.
